The aim is for the website and app to answer the common questions so customers do not need to contact support for every small issue.
What is Animatronics Designer?
An all-in-one planning tool for organising the electronics of animatronic projects, including inputs, outputs, controller planning, power requirements, wiring information, installation guidance and supported controller code.
Is it only for large animatronics?
No. The workflow is intended to help with anything from a simple moving prop to a much larger multi-device project.
Does it automatically wire the physical project for me?
No. It produces planning and connection information to help you build the project. You still need to assemble, wire and test the real hardware safely.
Does every device get generated controller code?
Code generation applies to supported hardware profiles. Specialist or proprietary equipment may need additional information or remain planning-only rather than being guessed.
How do updates work?
The public Updates page shows release information. The actual update package is intended to be delivered only after the installed app validates an eligible customer licence.
If I click Updates without buying, can I get the app for free?
No. The website will not expose the protected installer on the public Updates page. Purchase and update delivery are separate.
What should I do if I find a serious fault?
Check the FAQ and Updates page first. If the problem is still present, use the Support form and include enough information for the issue to be reproduced.
